Natalie Portman Welcomes A Baby Boy!

Natalie Portman is the proud mother of a baby boy, People reports.

The Oscar winner, who turned 30 on Thursday (June 9), recently gave birth to her first child with fiance Benjamin Millepied.

The couple met while working on Black Swan and announced in December they were expecting a baby and getting married.

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Natalie previously told People, adding that she’d figure out future career opportunities “as it comes.”

The 28-year-old English actress and Jason, 31, filmed a scene taking place in winter and smooched on a fake snow bank that had to be fabricated for the film.

Five Year Engagement also stars Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, and Rhys Ifans. The film is set to be released next year.

On learning about makeup: “I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup when I was young. I would melt crayons and try to put them on my lips, and I would use watercolors for eye shadow.”
On her beauty must-have: “Mascara is very important. If I were on a desert island, I would have to have mascara and lip balm. I’m naturally tan, but I like to use a bronzing powder or something to make my skin look shimmery.”
Her biggest tip for petite figures: “High heels. I love all designer shoes. There’s this pair in my closet by Versace, and they must be 8 inches - crazy tall! I once tried to count how many I had. All I know is that I just donated 60 pairs.”

On what she spent her first paycheck on: “I spent my first paycheck on a vintage Mercedes. I was struggling a little in New York, working as a waitress at Jackson Hole but not really getting any consistent acting work. Then I moved out here to Los Angeles, and I started getting pilots and working pretty regularly. I still didn’t make any decent money until I got on Friends.”

On what she’d be doing if she weren’t an actor: “Maybe an interior designer. I love seeing a house and thinking about how it should be redone or restored. I spent a lot of time doing my current house, and it’s beautiful…It’s like a beautiful work of art, and I’m very proud of it.”

Kate Hudson wears a little lacy number on the cover of InStyle magazine’s May 2011 issue, on newsstands Friday (April 22).

The Something Borrowed actress, who’s expecting her second child this summer, chatted with the mag about her Muse rocker beau, Matt Bellamy!

The two met at Coachella: “[I was] watching Radiohead’s Thom Yorke with a guy I knew from high school, who introduced me to Matthew,” Kate said. “We realized we had met a few years earlier, in Australia. Then I got distracted and said, ‘I’ve got to find my friends; I don’t know where they went.’ He just looked at me and said, ‘Come on, I’ll take care of you.’ That’s when I went, ‘Wait a minute, who are you?’”

As for what she loves about him, Kate shared, “Matthew was polite and immediately protective, which for somebody like me who’s all over the place – one minute I’m over here and the next I’m over there – is important….He is just an amazing person.”

To get it to fit so I don’t like look I have an alien head is a talent in itself. The makeup is even more involved because they have to make us pale without taking away every feature.”
On camaraderie with her Twilight co-stars: “We just filmed the fourth movie, and I think we’ve all grown up. We’re like a family. That’s not to say there weren’t disagreements. We’re working 16 hours a day! We’re exhausted! Things happen. But the nice part is that at the end of the day, it’s like yelling at your sister. You don’t stay mad at her.”

The 43-year-old Aussie actress got to work on the HBO film with co-star Clive Owen, who sported a mustache.

The flick “recounts the tumultuous romance and subsequent marriage of literary master Ernest Hemingway (Owen) and up-and-coming war correspondent Martha Gellhorn (Kidman), following them through the Spanish Civil War and beyond. As she grew in reputation and stature, Gellhorn stood toe-to-toe with Hemingway, putting his famous bravado and iconic style to the test,” according to the network.


Hemingway & Gellhorn is set to premiere on HBO sometime next year!

On meeting Heath Ledger in New York in 2007: “We were both struggling with things that I won’t get into and we bonded over that. At first I said, ‘Listen, my mum’s living with me right now and I’m going through a hard time. I’m not interested in having a serious relationship,’ and he said, ‘Let’s just be there for each other through these hard times.’ And we developed a relationship and started seeing each other.”

On her memories about Heath: “He was an incredible person, unlike anybody I’ve ever met – and will meet ever again. He was one of a kind and extremely sensitive, extremely open, extremely honest, extremely generous, extremely energetic. He had time for everybody, no matter who you were. He was such an amazing talent.”

On her character in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides: “Tamara is the typical siren. And what I found interesting about the mermaids in this movie is that the producers stayed true to mermaid mythology. Jennifer Garner: National Board of Review Gala with Ben Affleck!

Jennifer Garner walks the red carpet in Roland Mouret at the National Board of Review’s Awards Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday (January 11) in New York.

The 38-year-old actress came out to support her husband Ben Affleck, whose film The Town was named one of the ten best films of the year.

The Town also picked up the award for Best Ensemble Cast!

The day before, Jennifer took her daughters Violet and Seraphina to a doctor’s appointment in Santa Monica, Calif.

Natalie Portman Covers 'InStyle' February 2011

Natalie Portman wears Marc Jacobs as she graces the cover of InStyle magazine’s February 2011 issue, on newsstands Friday (January 14)!

Here’s what the 29-year-old Black Swan and No Strings Attached actress had to share:

On what qualities she looks for in a romantic partner: “I look for all the same things I would in a friend. Obviously, you need the sexual attraction too, so it’s like your best friend who you are also really attracted to.”

On what she’d do if she could go unrecognized for a day: “I would make out in the park! [Laughs.] That’s the thing I would most enjoy doing in New York, and it’s something I’ll never do. I’d also have loud, public conversations with my friends about personal things. Even if no one is paying attention—and most of the time, no one cares—you never know who is at the next table.”

On whether she thinks friends-with-benefits relationships can work: “I certainly have friends who could deal with that and others who could not. It’s something I’ve seen in high-achieving women - they compartmentalize. You’ve got your work, your friends, your exercise, and your sex. [Grins.] You can tick off those boxes.”

The 38-year-old actress chatted about playing golf and having an incredibly multicultural experience on the set of her film!

“Jay Chou, who is amazing…he’s from Taiwan and speaks Mandarin; then we have Christoph [Waltz], who’s from Austria; and, of course, Seth Rogen, who’s Canadian…and then you have me, who’s from Long Beach, California - I am completely linguistically challenged!” Cam laughed.

Rachel McAdams: 'Morning Glory' London Premiere!

Rachel McAdams wears a daring low-cut Suno dress on the red carpet for the UK premiere of her new film, Morning Glory, on Tuesday (January 11) at the Empire Leicester Square in London, England.

The 32-year-old Canadian actress, who finished off her look with Charlotte Olympia shoes, was joined by her co-star, Harrison Ford.

On Sunday, Rachel premiered the film in Berlin and wore a show stopping red dress by Michael Kors.

Natalie Portman Covers 'Vogue' January 2011

Natalie Portman graces the cover of Vogue’s January 2011 issue.

The magazine recently looked inside the training that the 29-year-old actress went through to prepare for her role in Black Swan.

To lengthen and strengthen her body, Natalie worked eight hours a day, six days a week with Mary Helen Bowers, a former dancer in the New York City ballet.

Mary believes that “you can really transform any body type into one looking like a ballerina: long, lean, sculpted, and strong, but still very elegant.”

Natalie has already been winning awards for her role in the movie. She received the Best Actress award from both the New York and Boston Film Critics Societies!

On spending most of her time in the UK: “London is great, but I miss America. Nowadays I feel like we’re citizens of everywhere.”

On her role as a mother: “My kids are everything to me. I was so lucky to have great parents, and I don’t know if I’ll be as good, but I certainly try.”

On pushing herself as an actress: “I love to push myself — singing was exhilarating. It’s always good to scare and surprise yourself.”
