Natalie Portman Welcomes A Baby Boy!

Natalie Portman is the proud mother of a baby boy, People reports.

The Oscar winner, who turned 30 on Thursday (June 9), recently gave birth to her first child with fiance Benjamin Millepied.

The couple met while working on Black Swan and announced in December they were expecting a baby and getting married.

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Natalie previously told People, adding that she’d figure out future career opportunities “as it comes.”

The 28-year-old English actress and Jason, 31, filmed a scene taking place in winter and smooched on a fake snow bank that had to be fabricated for the film.

Five Year Engagement also stars Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, and Rhys Ifans. The film is set to be released next year.

On her beauty must-have: “Mascara is very important. If I were on a desert island, I would have to have mascara and lip balm. I’m naturally tan, but I like to use a bronzing powder or something to make my skin look shimmery.”
Her biggest tip for petite figures: “High heels. I love all designer shoes. There’s this pair in my closet by Versace, and they must be 8 inches - crazy tall! I once tried to count how many I had. All I know is that I just donated 60 pairs.”

On what she spent her first paycheck on: “I spent my first paycheck on a vintage Mercedes. I was struggling a little in New York, working as a waitress at Jackson Hole but not really getting any consistent acting work. Then I moved out here to Los Angeles, and I started getting pilots and working pretty regularly. I still didn’t make any decent money until I got on Friends.”

On what she’d be doing if she weren’t an actor: “Maybe an interior designer. I love seeing a house and thinking about how it should be redone or restored. I spent a lot of time doing my current house, and it’s beautiful…It’s like a beautiful work of art, and I’m very proud of it.”

On returning to theater in The Children’s Hour: “It’s so alive. It’s your job every single night to make sure that it’s working. And no one can come in and make sure that it does. That’s interesting because it means you’re incredibly focused for two and a half hours, and if something goes wrong, you have to find a way to get out of it. That can be quite difficult in front of 800 people, so it’s quite exciting.”
On why she loves theater: “I suppose I like the romance of it, because you never see the same play twice. There’s something extraordinary about something that’s lost—that you will only ever see it for that night and that night only. You’ll never see it again, and it’s not recorded, and so it’s kind of magic.”
On what’s next for her: “[H]opefully, at the end of the year, I’m going to do a film with Joe Wright, who I did Pride and Prejudice and Atonement with, but given the financial climate, nothing is ever for certain, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.”

Ashton Kutcher: 'Two and a Half Men' at the Upfronts!

Ashton Kutcher joins his Two and a Half Men co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones at the CBS Upfronts held at Tent at Lincoln Center on Wednesday (May 18) in New York.
During the presentation, the 33-year-old actor talked about what it means to him to join the cast of the hit show.
“I’ve never, probably in my 13 years of show business, received more emails or calls congratulating me about getting a new job. I almost think I won the lottery. Which I kind of did,” Ashton said.

On camaraderie with her Twilight co-stars: “We just filmed the fourth movie, and I think we’ve all grown up. We’re like a family. That’s not to say there weren’t disagreements. We’re working 16 hours a day! We’re exhausted! Things happen. But the nice part is that at the end of the day, it’s like yelling at your sister. You don’t stay mad at her.”

James Franco & Nicole Kidman: Broadway's 'Sweet Bird of Youth'!

James Franco is set to star opposite Nicole Kidman in a Broadway production of Sweet Bird of Youth!
The 32-year-old actor would hit the stage in the David Cromer directed play next fall. Sweet Bird of Youth, written by Tennessee Williams, tells the story of an aging movie star and her gigolo paramour.
“Negotiations are underway, but both Franco and Kidman are fully committed,” Deadline reports.

Cameron Diaz: 'Gambit' With Colin Firth!

Cameron Diaz is set to star in the Joel and Ethan Coen-scripted remake of Gambit.
Synopsis (according to Deadline): “Firth plays a London art curator who plans to con a wealthy collector into buying a phony Monet painting. He enlists a Texas steer roper (Diaz) to pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.”
The 1966 original starred Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine. The remake reportedly will be directed by The Last Station’s Michael Hoffman.

On pressure to stay in shape: “In a normal job, if you gain or lose a few pounds, it’s no big deal. But in my business you have to tell someone so that the next time you go to a fitting, the clothes are the right size. It’s really embarrassing to have to say to your manager, ‘I’m now a 6 pant instead of a 4.’ Emails go out, and they cc the agents: ‘Jenna would like everyone to know that she’s now a 6 pant.’ This is why actresses obsess about their weight. It’s not a private affair.”
On whether her idea of “The One” has changed: “In a way, yes. After my divorce, someone said to me, ‘Finding love is not as hard as picking the right person to spend the rest of your life with.’ It was Paul Lieberstein, the executive producer of The Office; he also plays Toby on the show. I held on to that advice when I was searching. I’d start to fall for someone and think, But that’s not a good match. The fluttery feelings aren’t enough. When I was younger, I thought you married the person you fell in love with the most. But as [my ex-husband and I] learned what we wanted, I realized there was a whole other set of criteria. You have to ask, Do we have the same goals?”
On dating after her divorce: “I thought I’d go wild with freedom, but instead I pretty much did what I did in college - stay home with my cat [laughs]. I didn’t want to waste time flitting around. I remember going out with one cute and funny guy. I thought, We could have a really fun eight months, but that’s eight months I’m taking away from finding Mr. Right. I can’t afford that. So I ended it. In the midst of all that, I was having weekly script dinners with Lee, and I realized, I’m looking at basically the perfect man. It doesn’t get better than this.”
On being an aunt to her niece, Cecelia: “I already wanted kids, but even more so now. When Cecelia was 3 weeks old, Pam was on maternity leave, so I had a whole week off to spend with her. I took charge of the night feedings. It was so awesome: Every night at 9:30, I’d say, ‘You guys go to sleep now.’ I wanted CeCe all to myself. We really bonded.”

The Kennedys was originally supposed to air on The History Channel, but the network has now canceled plans to air the mini-series as it is “not suitable” for the station’s brand.

While the producers of the series are now trying to find a network in the United States, the international broadcasters are still planning to go ahead with the series, according to the NYT.

Michelle Williams graces the cover of Marie Claire’s February 2011 issue in a Valentino dress and a Tom Binns necklace.

The 32-year-old Blue Valentine actress shared with the mag how her pal Reese Witherspoon changed her perspective on life.

On Reese’s advice in a troubled time: “To give credit where credit is due, I was sharing a difficulty I was experiencing with Reese Witherspoon, and she said, ‘Yes, I understand, but think about how much more difficult this would be without the luxury of a reliable, steady income.”

On a changed perspective on life: “When things are difficult for me as a single parent, I always reflect on how much harder it would be if I didn’t have money—if I couldn’t afford a babysitter to go to yoga class or out to dinner with a girlfriend.”

Kate Winslet on Michelle: “From a distance, I feel as if I’ve actually been having a secret love affair with Michelle. She and I are quite intimate in my fantasy friendship, built on admiration and respect. I’m talking about her acting, of course!”

Michelle Williams: New York Film Critic's Circle Awards!

Michelle Williams graces the red carpet at the 2010 New York Film Critics Circle Awards at Crimson on Monday (January 10) in New York.

The 30-year-old Blue Valentine actress did not pick up the award for Best Actress during the evening. The award went to The Kids Are All Right’s Annette Bening.

The day before, Michelle attended the New York Times’ Arts & Leisure Weekend to talk about her film and later went on a stroll with her friend Dan Estabrook.

FYI: Michelle is wearing a Wren skirt, a Nina Ricci blouse, Chanel fine jewelry, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Zoe Saldana Kicks Off Golden Globe Week

Zoe Saldana steps out in style at Audi and J. Mendel party to kick off Golden Globe Week at Cecconi’s Restaurant on Sunday (January 9) in Los Angeles.

The latest trailer for the 32-year-old actress’ new film, Burning Palms, was recently released!

Burning Palms is “a subversive tale that interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate.” The film hits theaters later this week!

Amy Adams Covers 'Marie Claire' January 2011

Amy Adams shows off her hot post-baby body on the cover of Marie Claire’s January issue.

Here’s what the 36-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On her new movie The Fighter: “What’s funny is that some people who’ve seen it have said, ‘Amy, you’re finally playing yourself!’ It’s not that she’s like me. It’s just that she’s less naive.”

On husband Darren Le Gallo: “[He's] not competitive with me, which is great. That just wouldn’t work. We’re a family, and he’s really embraced his role as a father [to our 7-month-old daughter Aviana].

On choosing roles: “I’ve never really been too concerned with how I’ve looked on-screen. And I’ve never really played a stylish, modern, glamorous girl. But with these last two movies [The Fighter and On the Road] I’ve done, I was raw. I hope that’s the journey I’m on. It just feels more honest.”

UPDATE: Amy picked up a Golden Globe nomination — Best Supporting Actress for The Fighter. Congrats!!

Ryan Gosling suits up in Ralph Lauren Black Label for the cover of GQ magazine’s January 2011 issue!

Here’s what the 30-year-old Blue Valentine and All Good Things actor had to share:

On working at a sandwich shop after The Notebook: “I’d never had a real job.” The problem with Hollywood, he goes on, is that nobody works. “They have meals. They go to Pilates. But it’s not enough. So they do drugs. If everybody had a pile of rocks in their backyard and spent every day moving them from one side of the yard to the other, it would be a much happier place.”

On being surprised by his success but knowing it could end: “Look, this is crazy. I don’t understand how I’m here, living this life, wearing this suit. I assume I’m going to pay for it someday.”

How cute is Suri, 4, with her gingerbread and candy cane footed pajamas?!

While Katie, 31, was shooting scenes with co-star Adam Sandler, her husband, Tom Cruise, was also busy at work on Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol in Vancouver.
