Cameron Diaz films scenes for her new movie, Gambit, at an airport on Tuesday (May 17) in London, England.

The 38-year-old actress shot scenes wearing a pair of daisy dukes and cowboy boots and carrying a cowboy hat.

Cam was joined on set by her co-star, Colin Firth! The duo have been in town preparing for the movie since late April.

Woody Allen may never stop making films. Long after he is dead, I am sure we will still be treated to summer releases of his newest film that was shot, edited, and stored in a vault somewhere. Having just arrived from the opening of Midnight in Paris at the Cannes Film Festival, he decided to round up some New York press and talk about his next untitled film project. Yes, he is promoting his next film before his current one has even released theatrically. Even the casting for the film seems nearly done, with Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page, Penelope Cruz, and Alec Baldwin all set to star alongside the recently announced Roberto Benigni and Allen himself. Michelle Williams to Play Glinda in Sam Raimi’s OZ, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL

The triumvirate of witches in Sam Raimi’s Oz, The Great and Powerful is complete. The film stars James Franco as the future-wizard of Oz, Mila Kunis as Theodora (Wicked Witch of the West), Rachel Weisz as Evanora (Wicked Witch of the East), and now Variety reports that Michelle Williams has been cast as Glinda, the Good Witch. So it looks like Disney won their battle with Raimi who wanted Hilary Swank for the role, but Disney wanted Williams.
In this re-imagining/prequel to The Wizard of Oz, Franco is a snake-oil salesman who is transported to Oz and teams up with Glinda to fight her evil sisters in a power struggle for control of the magical land. While Raimi obviously knows the script better than I do, I think Williams is talented actress who adds value to any film. She tends to gravitate to serious indie fare so this is a nice change of pace for what is sure to be one of Disney’s 2012 tentpoles. Williams will next be seen as Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn and opposite Seth Rogen in Sarah Polley’s bittersweet comedy Take This Waltz.

Warner Bros. to Reunite Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in TURKEY BOWL

Fans of The Other Guys‘ Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg team-up will be happy to hear that the two have definite plans of joining forces once again. Deadline reports that Warner Bros. has acquired a pitch, entitled Turkey Bowl, from 30 Rock writer/producer Robert Carlock and Friends writer/producer Scott Silveri that will reunite the former co-stars. Turkey Bowl will pit Ferrell and Wahlberg as guys from rival towns who engage in an annual football game with the stakes being the ultimate high: you guessed it, bragging rights. Per the report, Warner Bros. is looking to load the rival teams with cameo appearances a la Anchorman’s broadcaster throwdown.


Adam McKay and Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez banner will produce Turkey Bowl alongside Wahlberg’s Closest to the Hole label. Currently, there is no word on when the project is scheduled to go into production and/or who might occupy the director’s chair. Ferrell can currently be seen in the indie/dramady Everything Must Go. Wahlberg can next be seen alongside Kate Beckinsale and Ben Foster in the thriller Contraband before lensing Seth MacFarlane’s comedy Ted.

Exclusive: Matt Dillon Not Replacing Charlie Sheen

You can cross 47-year-old actor Matt Dillon off the list to replace Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Matt is being considered as a new character on the hit CBS sitcom, playing Charlie's long lost brother.
The RumorFix team thinks Matt would make an interesting choice -- he's a well respected-actor, who received an Oscar-nomination for Crash.  And recently he showed off his comic timing in the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family.
But RumorFix spoke to Matt's publicist, Staci Wolfe, who told us, "No truth to it."
We're still waiting for a denial from Rob Lowe's camp.

Old ‘brat pack’ actors are talked up as possible new stars of Two and a Half Men

Who will replace Charlie Sheen in the highest paid acting job on American television? At least three actors have been linked with the starring role in the US comedy Two and a Half Men, including two of Sheen’s 'brat pack' contemporaries from the 1980s.

The blogosphere has gone into overdrive after it was reported that Rob Lowe was in talks with the show's creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre to replace the errant Sheen, who was allegedly paid $1.8 million an episode before he was was fired on Monday.

Lowe, who starred alongside Sheen's brother Emilio Estevez (the generally acknowledged 'brat pack' leader) in The Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire in the mid-Eighties, is currently appearing in ABC's drama Brothers and Sisters and the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation. According to US reports, Lorre has talked to Lowe's agent at William Morris-Endeavor to discuss the possibility of him joining the cast.

However, Lowe's executive producer on Parks and Recreation, Mike Schur, is adamant that "there's no truth" to the rumour. Speaking at the annual television festival PaleyFest in Los Angeles yesterday, Schur said that Lowe would not be leaving the comedy anytime soon, as he has a "multi-year contract" with the show.

Lorre is also said to be in talks with Matt Dillon, the 47-year-old Oscar-nominated actor who recently showed off his comic timing in the hit ABC comedy Modern Family. But Dillon's publicist Staci Wolfe has told the entertainment website Rumorfix it is untrue.

Glee and Full House star John Stamos is another name linked to Two and a Half Men. But the 47-year-old actor has denied that he would be interested in the role, tweeting: "Contrary to the rumours, I am not replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and Half Men."

Production was halted on Two and a Half Men a fortnight ago after Sheen launched an astonishing verbal attack on his bosses. He was eventually sacked this week.

For his part Sheen has given his blessing to both Lowe and Stamos, whom he had earlier ridiculed as a replacement. He told a radio interviewer yesterday: "I think they're both fabulous and my apologies to John. I was rude to him earlier, John Stamos. That was unnecessary."

As for Lowe, the 46-year-old is "a buddy of mine, he's a beautiful man, a brilliant actor, and I hope he does it and kicks its ass because I still get [paid]," he said, referring to an alleged clause in his contract known as the 'Michael J Fox clause'. It is so named after Fox's contract on Spin City which ensured that he would keep drawing a salary from the show even if he left. In a neat twist, Sheen took over from Fox on Spin City and presumably got the idea for the clause from him.

Not surprisingly, the producers of Two and a Half Men, Warner Bros are challenging this. TMZ.com reports that the contract is null and void because Sheen was sacked.

'Modern Family' scoop: Matt Dillon to play Claire's ex

Modern Family is about to demonstrate that Claire Dunphy has always had excellent taste in men. EW has learned exclusively that Matt Dillon (Crash) will play the ex-boyfriend of Julie Bowen’s character in an upcoming episode of the ABC comedy.

There’s no airdate – much less a script for the episode - but EW has also learned this juicy little detail: Claire’s ex has a new galpal and the mother of three is probably not going to like her. It’s Claire’s mom, DeDe Pritchett! Shelley Long will reprise her role as DeDe, a role she originated last season in an episode titled “The Incident.” (Remember? DeDe comes to visit the family for the first time since making a huge, drunken scene at Jay and Gloria’s wedding).

Dillon most recently appeared in Armored and Old Dogs.

Almost twenty years ago, Val Kilmer played one of the most famous gunfighters of all time by saddling up as Doc Holliday in 1993’s Tombstone. Now Variety reports that he’s returning to the Western genre to play another legendary lawman in The First Ride of Wyatt Earp. The film is based on a true story and centers on “an elderly Earp sitting down with a reporter to reflect on the ride that made him a legend, when the young marshal rounded up a posse to track down the outlaw who mistakenly murdered the woman he loved.”


While Kilmer is the goods, the same can’t be said of his young and unknown supporting cast, which includes Daniel Booko (Glory Daze), American Idol contestant Diana DeGarmo, Matt Dallas (Kyle XY), and Wilson Bethel. Producers Barry Barnholtz and Jeffrey Schenck reportedly see the project as a “Young Guns for the next generation.” You know, because Young Guns is such a classic. Confirmed: Jennifer Lawrence Will Play Katniss Everdeen in THE HUNGER GAMES

Last week, we reported that Oscar-nominee Jennifer Lawrence had been offered the coveted-role of Katniss Everdeen in Gary Ross’ adaptation of The Hunger Games. We explained that even though the character is 16-years-old in the book, Lionsgate wanted to cast older because they believed it was easier to find a bankable lead actor in his early 20s to play opposite Lawrence.


Now The Wrap is reporting, to the surprise of no one, that Lawrence has taken the role. I haven’t read the books yet but I think Lawrence is a good actress and I’m glad to see her get such a high-profile role. Hit the jump for a synopsis of the book. Now we have our first unofficial look at the lovely ladies thanks to some photos snapped on the set down in Miami, Florida. In addition to seeing the trio of angels strutting their stuff in some classy white dresses, we also have our first look at Ramon Rodriguez as Bosley, a casting choice that I’m not really all that pleased with to be honest. Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh, the new Charlie's Angels, are spotted back to work on their upcoming TV reboot in Cardon Park, Miami. Before filming on a large yacht in the harbor, Minka relaxed by reading a magazine article on the steps of her trailer with her dog Chewy.
