Old Georgiana Carr (Burstyn), once an heir herself but now in the same financial extreme as her neighbors, sadly decides to sell the house she’s lived in her whole life.

But when a stranger, Mr. Gus Leroy (Firth), comes to town with an offer to rent one of Georgina’s warehouses and the promise of a new business venture that will turn things around, the residents are intrigued and excited.
