The UNITED Six (United 6), new-age thriller is a Bollywood film starring Parvathy Omanakuttan, Mahi, Daisy Bopanna, Luna Lahkar, Pooja Sharma and Esha Batwe , directed by Vishal Aryan Singh. Music is by Pritam and the movie is produced by C. G. Patel and released under the banner of White House Productions Limited.

‘United 6’ is the story of six girls who are living in Bangkok. They are going through a tough phase in their lives. Their dreams have shattered, their aspirations crushed. In this situation, out of frustration and out of anger, they decide to rob a bank. One of the girls, Jia, who was fired from the bank for refusing to sleep with her boss, convinces the others and leads them. The film has set in stylish locations of Bangkok and pattaya. The six girls getting jittery. Even though one the girl in the group continues to motivate them. They find it very difficult with every passing hour. And they started talking negatively. As time flies by, every body loses their confidence and they decide to call it a quit. I am currently in the midst of finding new inspiration and motivation for many things, and always like to hear how others find theirs. The other day I was pleasantly surprised to hear from talented UK based photographer Carly Rodgers sharing with me a recent shoot she did that was inspired by the Marilyn Monroe photo above.

She was moved to recreate a timeless, sensual and vintage feel, similar to Marilyn's languid pose. I think these photos are brilliant and definitely capture strength and vulnerability, just like Marilyn. It is important to note that true inspiration is an artist's interpretation of another art form. To be inspired and not copy is hard to do!
