Poster: "The Iceman" with Michael Shannon, James Franco and Benicio Del Toro

Today we have the poster for "The Iceman," which is based on the true story of Richard "The Ice Man" Kuklinski and stars James Franco, Michael Shannon, and Benicio Del Toro.
The story revolves around Richard Kuklinski (Michael Shannon), a notorious mob contract killer and loving family man. He earned his nick-name by freezing the bodies of his victims, disguising the time of death and throwing police off-track. He was a man who used his tendencies toward violence and detachment from consequence to create an idyllic family life. His family and neighbors believed he was an average businessman, having no idea about his deadly alternate life. Kuklinski killed over one hundred people during his life. He never felt remorse for anything he had done, except hurting his family.
Del Toro co-stars as Kuklinski's employer, the notorious mobster Roy Demeo, and Franco plays his mentor assassin known as Mr. Softee.
During the premiere of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," MTV caught up with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who confirmed that a sequel to "Red" is in the works.
"We're trying to put it together," he said. "We just got a script and it's really good. We're all just now discussing how to put it all back together again."
The first film stars Helen Mirren, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, and Morgan Freeman. Di Bonaventura says the plan is to bring back the same cast as well as add some new faces.
"I think the audience would be disappointed if we didn't bring back the crew, but we've got to freshen the crew," he explained. "We'll bring in one or two characters that'll play a really big part — maybe three, but definitely one or two."

Emma Watson Covers 'Harper's Bazaar UK' August 2011
Emma Watson shines in the sunlight on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK’s August 2011 issue, on newsstands July 7.
Here is what the 21-year-old Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 actress had to share with the mag (via Daily Mail):
On why she left school: “Leaving Brown had nothing to do with bullying, as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life. Like a lot of other students at Brown, I might spend my third year abroad.”
On getting angry while acting: “My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, ‘I can’t do it, I just can’t do it.’ I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing – and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it’s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn’t come naturally at all.”
On her self-image while in Hollywood: “I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.”
Kristen Stewart Goes Horseback Riding as She Preps For Her Snow White Role
Lauren Turner / July 2, 2011 7:17 pm
Posted July 2, 2011 7:17 pm by Lauren Turner
Kristen Stewart mounted a horse in Palm Springs yesterday. She was decked out in her usual tee and jeans outfit but also sported a helmet and riding boots. It appears the actress is prepping for her role in Snow White and the Huntsman, which will have the star atop a horse for filming. Kristen's been staying in shape with regular workout sessions all week, and she was most recently spotted leaving a yoga class in LA on Thursday. The equestrian fun ended since Kristen was back in Beverly Hills today, and she threw on cutoff shorts to take care of some errands. Kristen was greeted with a parking ticket, though, when she arrived back at her Mini Cooper.
Jennifer Aniston hits the red carpet in Balenciaga at the premiere of her new movie, Horrible Bosses, on Thursday (June 30) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The 42-year-old actress snapped photos with co-stars Jason Bateman, Jamie Foxx, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, and Julie Bowen on the red carpet!
Jen’s boyfriend, Justin Theroux, also came out to support her.
Earlier in the week, Jennifer and Justin were spotted arriving at their hotel in New York City through a private entrance.
FYI: Jennifer accessorized with a Salvatore Ferragamo croc clutch, Versace shoes, and Fred Leighton jewelry.
Jada Pinkett Smith is all smiles on the cover of Redbook magazine’s August 2011 issue, on newsstands July 12.
Here’s what the 39-year-old HawthoRNe actress and famous mama had to share:
On putting family first: “I had to make choices. Believe me, I would still be on the road with my band, Wicked Wisdom, and making as many movies as I can a year, and doing all sorts of other things if I didn’t have the responsibility of a family. But I have children with their own talents and dreams, and I know I have to be standing next to them for that journey.”
On giving up on her rockstar dreams: “It was excruciating, completely excruciating. When Jaden was auditioning for The Pursuit of Happyness, my band had just gotten an offer to open for Guns N’ Roses in Europe. For me, that was unbelievable. But the choice was: I could be a rock star, or I could be on the set with my son to make sure he was healthy and happy. We all know how that story ended!”
On raising her kids in Hollywood: “Let me tell you what I fear most: Them growing up like I did, in a house with drugs in a war zone, where if I walked out my door I could be shot. Hollywood ain’t nothing compared to that! Growing up in the streets of Baltimore, or the streets of Philly where Will grew up - I’d rather have my kids here. It still makes me nervous that they’re part of something that isn’t totally real, but it’s up to Will and me to teach them what’s real and what’s not.”
Julia Roberts is all smiles outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre before taping an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday (June 28) in New York City.
The 43-year-old actress is currently promoting her new film Larry Crowne, which hits theaters this Friday!
Tom Hanks recently opened up to Access Hollywood about working with Julia - his co-star on the film.

Drew Barrymore has signed on to direct/produce the young adult thriller Heist Society for Warner Bros. Based on the novel by Ally Carter, Heist Society tells the story of Katarina Bishop, a young woman who embraces her family’s history of cat burglary and general thievery so as to clear her father’s name in a case regarding a mobster’s missing art collection. Brooklyn Decker Learns WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING
by Jason Barr Posted: June 30th, 2011
Swimsuit model-turned actress Brooklyn Decker (Just Go With It) will join director Kirk Jones’ (Everybody’s Fine) adaptation of the bestselling book What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Decker joins a cast that already features Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, and Isla Fisher. Per Deadline, the actress will make a turn as the wife of an older man who makes carrying and giving birth to twins seem like a breeze, and is hated by her peers as a result. The pic begins shooting this summer and is aiming for a May 11th, 2012 release. In addition What to Expect, Decker also stars alongside Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, Josh Pence, and Rihanna in director Peter Berg’s Battleship which is scheduled to hit theaters the week after What to Expect on May 18th. http://collider.com/brooklyn-decker-what-to-expect-when-youre-expecting/99783/
Vince Vaughn Reunites with Ben Stiller for Akiva Schaffer’s NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
by Matt Goldberg Posted: June 30th, 2011
Vince Vaughn will reunite with Ben Stiller in Akiva Schaffer’s sci-fi comedy Neighborhood Watch. According to THR, the plot revolves around a group of suburban dads that use a “neighborhood watch” as a cover to get some away-time from their families. However, the ruse becomes complicated when the group uncovers a plan to destroy the world. I will start praying that Vaughn and Stiller don’t reprise their roles as Fast-Talking-Wiseguy-Who-Gets-Humiliated and Timid-Neurotic-Guy, respectively.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the most recent draft of the script. Vaughn recently signed on to co-star in Lay the Favorite and he’s circling the comedies 2 Guns and Insane Laws. The actor was recently seen in Ron Howard’s The Dilemma playing Fast-Talking-Wiseguy-Who-Gets-Humiliated.
It’s debatable whether or not Matthew Fox and Ed Harris were ever truly signed on to co-star in Marc Forster’s adaptation of Max Brooks’ World War Z, but whether they were on board or simply in negotiations, neither actor will be in the movie. Vulture reports that Fox won’t be in the flick due to a scheduling conflict with Rob Cohen’s I, Alex Cross (Fox is playing the film’s villain). It’s unknown why Harris opted out of WWZ, but now the production is scrambling to find two affordable but recognizable actors to fill the roles. Shooting is already underway and the producers are having actors read in both Los Angeles and London.
Hit the jump for a synopsis of the novel, which examines the world post-Zombie apocalypse. The film stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Anthony Mackie, Julia Levy-Boeken, and James Badge Dale. World War Z is slated to open next year.
A synopsis for Ridley Scott’s mysterious sci-fi flick Prometheus may have leaked online. Details on the film have been kept under wraps to the point where there’s still confusion over how much of it is an Alien prequel and how much is its own beast. At this point, the consensus seems to be that it is a prequel to Alien, but it’s outside the mold of the franchise to date. This synopsis sheds some light on how Prometheus could be both an Alien prequel and not an Alien-prequel. Keep in mind that that this could just be elaborate fan fiction from a guy (or gal) with too much free time deciding to take what disparate elements we think we know and build it into a convincing synopsis.
