Oscar ödüllü ünlü ABD'li sinema oyuncusu Jodie Foster, çocuklarıyla birlikte İzmir'in Selçuk İlçesi'nde Efes Antik Kenti'ni ve Meryem Ana Evi'ni gezdi, Şirince Köyü'ndeki otelde kaldı.

Oscar ödüllü ünlü ABD'li sinema oyuncusu Jodie Foster, çocuklarıyla birlikte İzmir'in Selçuk İlçesi'nde Efes Antik Kenti'ni ve Meryem Ana Evi'ni gezdi, Şirince Köyü'ndeki otelde kaldı. Foster, Anadolu topraklarının barındırdığı zengin tarihten çok etkilendiğini söyledi. Ünlü yıldız Jodie Foster, çocukları Charles, Christopher ve arkadaşı Cydney Bernard ile 26 Haziran Pazar günü Efes Antik Kenti'ni gezdi, Meryem Ana Evi'ne gitti. Ardından konaklamak için Şirince'de Güllü Konakları'nı tercih eden Foster, dün de Selçuk'a gelerek çarşıyı gezdi ve ev yemekleri yedi. Emekli öğretmen Uğur Aytekin'e ait 'Efes Köftecisi'ne gelen Foster, mücver ve taze fasülyeyi tercih etti.

Restoran çalışanlarından Mehmet Namdar, ünlü yıldızın servisini yaptığını, ancak tam çıkarken tanıdığını, hemen fotoğraf çektirmek istediğini söyledi. Namdar, "Yanında bulunanlar fotoğrağımızı çekti, sonra göndereceklerini söylediler" dedi. Foster'ın kaldığı otelin müdürü Zeynep Erdilek de ünlü yıldızın Efes ve Meryem Ana'ya hayran kaldığını ve Anadolu topraklarının barındırdığı zengin tarihten çok etkilendiğini bizlerle paylaştı" dedi. Türkiye'ye ünlü akını devam ediyor. Pazartesi sabahı eşiyle birlikte mavi tura çıkan Michael Douglas Bodrum'a gelmişti. Ve dün de Jodie Foster 18 yıldır birlikte olduğu sevgilisi ve iki çocuğuyla birlikte Türkiye'ye geldi.

Mark Wahlberg and Allen Hughes’ BROKEN CITY Moves Forward

Back in November, we reported that Mark Wahlberg expressed interest in doing a film with Allen Hughes called Broken City. He said that it was “an amazing piece of material” and he hoped to shoot the project towards the end of 2011. Well now Deadline reports that Wahlberg and Hughes are in talks to actually get the film made. Emmett/Furla Films will be financing a $60 million budget for the drama. Wahlberg will play an ex-cop turned private detective who is hired by the mayor to see if the mayor’s wife is cheating on him. When the wife’s lover ends up dead, the private detective becomes embroiled in the mayor’s scandalous affairs.
The script by Brian Tucker landed on the 2008 Black List, so it’s been in the works for a while. However, that 2011 start-date may not be the plan anymore, as the report states that both Wahlberg and Hughes’ reps stress that “this is early going.” Nevertheless, it’s nice to see that things are moving along for what sounds like an intriguing project. http://collider.com/mark-wahlberg-broken-city-allen-hughes-2/99020/

Casting Call: Ed Helms to Star in TRUE NORTH, Jodie Foster Wanted for R.I.P.D.?

We’ve got a couple of casting stories for you this morning. First up, Jodie Foster is apparently being eyed to star in Robert Schwentke’s adaptation of the Dark Horse comic R.I.P.D. Bloody Disgusting reports that Universal is keen on casting the actress in the role of Proctor. The film stars Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds as deceased lawmen who are a part of the “Rest In Piece Department,” a group that keeps things in line in the afterlife. Foster’s involvement has yet to be confirmed, and she’ll be shooting director Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium later this year so she may not be able to fit the film into her schedule. R.I.P.D. hits theaters on June 28^th, 2013.
Additionally, Warner Bros. is developing a comedy vehicle called True North with Ed Helms attached to star. Variety reports that Brian Grazer is producing the film, which centers on a selfish talk show host who is put into a two-year coma following a plane crash. He awakens to find that his appearance has been surgically altered, and works to reconnect with his family and former life. Kirsten Dunst hits the red carpet at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival premiere of her newest film, Melancholia, on Wednesday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The 29-year-old actress wore a green wool and black dotted lace and tulle gown with Swarovski crystals from Rodarte’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection.

Earlier in the day, Kirsten stepped out in a gorgeous Chloe dress for a photo call with co-star Charlotte Gainsbourg and the film’s director, Lars von Trier.

Kirsten Dunst is picture perfect in Chloe as she attends a photo call for her new movie, Melancholia, at the Palais des Festivals during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The 29-year-old actress was joined by her co-star, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and the film’s director, Lars von Trier. Absent from the photo call was Alexander Skarsgard, who also stars in the film.

Leonardo DiCaprio speaks at the Cinema For Peace inaugural dinner at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival held at the Carlton Hotel on Wednesday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The event honored Sean Penn for his charity work in Haiti and benefited his J/P Hatian Relief Organization.

The 36-year-old actor, who recently split from his girlfriend of four years, Israeli model Bar Refaeli, spent time the day before with Blake Lively aboard a private yacht.
