The cast alone of Henry's Crime makes it an easy sell: Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga and James Caan, starring in a bank-heist comedy, with backup from Judy Greer, Peter Stormare and Fisher Stevens? No arm-twisting needed there. The movie also premiered last fall at the Toronto Film Festival, which means at least a few smart people already gave it their stamp of approval, and the plot involves Reeves's character executing a bank heist by taking the lead role in a performance of The Cherry Orchard.
Amazingly enough, a lot of that manages to come across in the poster, which premiered at Cinematical and you can see below. You've got the three leads, the theater and the bank, and some helpfully scrawled instructions that point to the heist. Unfortunately there's also the matter of a howler of a tagline: "The real crime is not committing to your dreams." That seems to point directly at some kind of sappy ending in which Henry and everybody else realize their true purpose in life, which is not at all the kind of thing that gets you pumped for a comedy heist thriller.
Beyond that, though, everything's looking good. Henry's Crime opens in New York April 8 and will expand wider the week after.

Wes Bentley, Emily Wickersham And Jennifer Carpenter Join Amanda Seyfried Thriller Gone

Amanda Seyfried will be playing a young woman in some kind of peril this weekend, as she stars in the Catherine Hardwicke-directed fairy tale revamp Red Riding Hood. She'll be at it again at some point next year in Now the sci-fi thriller also starring Justin Timberlake. And she'll be doing it one more time in the thriller Gone, as a young woman hunting down the kidnapper who attacked her years earlier and who has now targeted her sister. That film starts shooting in April, and a supporting cast has been added to get things moving forward.
According to Variety Emily Wickersham, Jennifer Carpenter and Wes Bentley have all been added to the cast; the article doesn't say who they'll be playing, but it seems a fair guess that Wickersham could play the kidnapped sister, and Bentley, having perfected the creepy guy roles over the years, would be a fair guess for the abductor. Though Carpenter is a regular on Dexter and Wickersham appeared in I Am Number Four, none of them are as famous as Seyfried, which suggests this will be a real starring vehicle for the actress. Summit will be distributing the film, which seems perfect for the kind of spring spot that Red Riding Hood is occupying this year.

Keira Knightley Joins Syfy's Mini 'Neverland'
By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Wednesday March 9, 2011
EXCLUSIVE: In her U.S. television debut, Keira Knightley has joined the cast of Syfy’s four-hour miniseries Neverland as the voice of Tinker Bell.
On live-action project, a prequel to J.M. Barrie’s classic Peter Pan, the Oscar-nominated actress joins Rhys Ifans, Anna Friel, Bob Hoskins, Charles Dance, Raoul Trujillo and Charlie Rowe. Written and directed by Nick Willing, Neverland centers on Peter (Rowe) who, along with his pals of young pickpockets, have been rounded up by their mentor Jimmy Hook (Ifans) to snatch a magical orb that transports them to another world - Neverland. Filled with white jungles and imposing cities formed out of trees created by Dr. Fludd (Dance) and inhabited by a colony of tree spirits led by Tinker Bell (Knightley), this mysterious realm welcomes unknown friends and enemies snatched from time. These include power-mad Elizabeth Bonny (Friel) and her band of 18th century pirates who search for the answer to eternal youth, a secret guarded by a Holy Man (Trujillo). As the fight to save this strange and beautiful world escalates, Peter and his crew consider that growing old somewhere in time could be less important than growing up -- right here in their new home called Neverland.
Knightley will record her role this spring. Neverland, produced by Dublin-based Parallel Films, Syfy and Sky Movies HD and distributed by RHI Entertainment, will air on Syfy in December.
