David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy) will be directing 20th Century Fox's upcoming "Daredevil" follow-up, which is said to pick up after the events in the 2003 film, but will not star Ben Affleck.
Rumors began circulating that Slade has had talks with his "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" star Robert Pattinson to play the lead in "Daredevil 2."
Now, in an interview with MTV News, Pattinson commented on the rumor. "No, I don't know where that came from at all," said the actor, who didn't even know that there was another "Daredevil" movie in the works.
The other two actors currently rumored for the role are Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy) and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover).

Jude Law Might Join Knightley, Johnson In Anna Karenina
published: 2011-03-19 08:22:20 Author: Mack Rawden
A few days back, rumors started hitting the internet that Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson was mulling an offer to star opposite Keira Knightley in a new adaptation of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. He's still yet to officially board, but now it seems the studio has also honed in on its other potential male lead.
According to Variety, the actor in question is Jude Law, though it's still a little unclear which role he might potentially be attached to in the eight-part novel. There's Anna husband, twenty years her senior, which might work considering Law is thirteen years older than Knightley. There's also the soldier she falls in love with and her brother Stiva, who philanders around as well. There's a good amount of cheating that will go on regardless.
Anna Karenina is being directed by Joe Wright who has proven himself more than capable with period pieces such as Atonement in the past. Because of that success, he's attracting an A-list cast to fill out the roles. The novel, an absolute masterpiece, deserves nothing short of a brilliant film, and if both Law and Johnson come on board, audiences should get just that. http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Jude-Law-Might-Join-Knightley-Johnson-In-Anna-Karenina-23760.html

Joseph Gordon-Levitt May Be Confirmed As The Holiday Killer In The Dark Knight Rises
published: 2011-03-20 12:36:55 Author: Katey Rich
Just a day after breaking the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt had closed his deal to star in The Dark Knight Rises, Variety is reporting a somewhat less confirmed story about which character he'll play. According to their sources, and without any confirmation from either Warner Bros. or anyone inside the Christopher Nolan production team, Gordon-Levitt will be playing Alberto Falcone, a.k.a. The Holiday Killer, scion of a Gotham Mafia family.
If the name sounds familiar, you may remember an identical rumor cropping up in early February, in a post at Comic Book Movie that has since been removed. The fact that the original story has vanished, plus more confirmation in Variety, makes this a rumor with a very, very strong likelihood of being true. Here's what I wrote at the time about The Holiday KIller and how he'd fit into the story:
He's the son of the mob boss we saw played by Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins, and would return to Gotham to take over the underworld that the Joker left in shambles and, presumably, cause a whole lot of trouble.
With The Dark Knight Rises set for release July 20, 2012 and filming starting soon, we will likely get confirmation about all of this soon-- Nolan can only keep everything under his hat for so long. Let us know what you thnk about Gordon-Levitt as the Holiday Killer in the comments. http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Joseph-Gordon-Levitt-May-Be-Confirmed-As-The-Holiday-Killer-In-The-Dark-Knight-Rises-23763.html
