Dünya starı çift hava muhalefetinden dolayı Milta Bodrum Marina'ya demirledikleri tekneleri ile gündüz saatlerinde denize açılamadılar. Yolculuk yaptıkları muhteşem yatları Mary Juaner'i marinada bırakıp gece gezintisine çıkan ünlü çift kol kola Bodrum'u gezdi.

Devasa teknesinde Bodrum'da tatil yapan ve daha önce gırtlak kanseri olduğu açıklanan ünlü yıldızın eşiyle Bodrum Marina'yı gezerken basın mensuplarının fotoğraflarını çekmesi Douglas'ın tadını kaçırdı. Eşiyle kol kola Marina Yat Club'a girmek isteyen ünlü yıldız mekanın kalabalık olduğunu görünce hızla adımlarla limana girip teknesine gitti.

Bodrum'da Catherine Zeta Jones sürprizi

ABD'li dünyaca ünlü sinema sanatçıları Michael Douglas ile eşi Catherine Zeta Jones, Bodrum'a geldi. Hayranları ünlü yıldızların fotoğraflarını çekmeye çalıştı.
Amerikan film dünyasının ünlü yıldızlarından ve yapımcılarından 67 yaşındaki 2 çocuk babası Michael Douglas ve eşi 42 yaşındaki Catherine Zeta Jones, 10 arkadaşı ile Yunanistan'ın Sömbeki (Simi) adasından 60 metre uzunluğunda 12 metre genişliğinde ve haftalığı 345 bin Euro'ya kiralanan 'Mary Jean 2' adlı İngiliz bayraklı lüks yat ile Pazar akşamı Bodrum'a geldi.

Milta Marina A.Ş.'ye demirleyen yattan saat 20.00 sıralarında çıkan ve Michael Douglas, eşi Catherine Zeta Jones ve arkadaşları Bodrum'un dünyaca ünlü barlar sokağında yürüyüş yaptı, halı mağazalarını gezdi, bir balık restoranda yemek yedi.

Görenler şaşırdı

Saat 23.00 sıralarında Bodrum Limanı'nı çevreleyen Neyzen Tevfik Caddesi'nde eşi ile birlikte el ele yürüyen Douglas ve şık giyimi ve güzelliği ile dikkat çeken eşi Jones soruları yanıtsız bıraktı.

İki ünlü Holywood yıldızını karşılarında görenler şaşırdı. Birçok kişi hızlı adımlarla yürüyerek marinadaki yata dönmeye çalışan ABD'Li çiftin fotoğrafını çekmeye çalıştı.

Dev lüks yat

Sinema salonu özel saunası, yüzme havuzu ve lüks odaları ile bir sarayı andıran yatta 18 personelin görev yaptığı belirtildi. Yunanistan'ın Kalimnos (Kilimli) ve Sömbeki (Simi) adalarından sonra Bodrum'a gelen Douglas ve eşi ile arkadaşlarının iki gün sürecek fırtına nedeniyle tatillerini Bodrum'a geçirecekleri ve yarın akşam saatlerinde Bodrum'dan ayrılarak Mikanos'a gidecekleri belirtildi.

Douglas ve eşinin yaklaşık 2 hafta sürecek Ege ve Akdeniz turuna çıktığı ve bulundukları yata Bodrum Balıkçılar Çarşısı'ndan balık, sebze ve meyve takviyesi yapıldığı belirtildi.

Bodrum'da tatilde bulunan ve Kanal D'de yayınlanan Öyle Bir Geçer Zamanki dizisi ile  Beşiktaş Kültür Merkezi'nin (BKM) oyuncularından Büşra Pekin, Yeliz Kovancı, Anıl İlter ve arkadaşlarının bulunduğu grup Douglas Ve Jones'u Milta Marina Çarşısı'nda mağazalara bakarken birden karşılarında görünce şaşırdı.

Kendi aralarında ünlü çiftin kimliği konusunda "Gerçekten onlar mı değil mi" diye tartışmaya giren oyuncular yaptıkları esprilerle çevredekileri güldürdü.

Oyuncu Büşra Pekin "Vallahi biz Bodrum sokaklarında yine Bodrum sandaletlerini konuşurken birden yanımızdan hızla ünlü yıldızın geçtiğini gördük çok şaşırdık. Dünyaca ünlü insanları burada görmek bizi de şaşırtıyor ve mutlu ediyor. Bodrum'un farkı işte burada olmalı. New Poster for RABBIT HOLE Starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart

Lionsgate has just released a new poster for John Cameron Mitchell’s upcoming drama Rabbit Hole. The poster is visually interesting, thoughtful, and a bit moving.  Basically, it’s everything the last poster wasn’t. If this is the type of work we can expect from the final product, then consider me sold.

Here’s the official synopsis for Rabbit Hole:

RABBIT HOLE is a vivid, hopeful, honest and unexpectedly witty portrait of a family searching for what remains possible in the most impossible of all situations. Becca and Howie Corbett (NICOLE KIDMAN and AARON ECKHART) are returning to their everyday existence in the wake of a shocking, sudden loss. Just eight months ago, they were a happy suburban family with everything they wanted. Now, they are caught in a maze of memory, longing, guilt, recrimination, sarcasm and tightly controlled rage from which they cannot escape. While Becca finds pain in the familiar, Howie finds comfort. The shifts come in abrupt, unforeseen moments. Becca hesitantly opens up to her opinionated, loving mother (DIANNE WIEST) and secretly reaches out to the teenager involved in the accident that changed everything (MILES TELLER); while Howie lashes out and imagines solace with another woman (SANDRA OH). Yet, as off track as they are, the couple keeps trying to find their way back to a life that still holds the potential for beauty, laughter and happiness. The resulting journey is an intimate glimpse into two people learning to re-engage with each other and a world that has been tilted off its axis.

Michael Douglas Still on for LIBERACE; Shooting Set to Begin in May or June 2011

When it was reported this past August that Michael Douglas was suffering from throat cancer, concerns arose not just for his health but for the future of the long-in-development Liberace biopic.  Douglas was to play the famous musician with Steven Soderbergh directing and Matt Damon co-starring.  However, a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter informs us that not only is Douglas recovering from his treatment, but he still has Liberace in his sights.  Douglas tells THR, “I’ve got a bunch of tapes of performances.  I’m thinking; I’m a blank slate. Everything shows me he was a lovely man; I just want to reconfirm that.”  THR also reports that shooting is scheduled to begin in May or June of next year, which confirms Damon’s claim earlier this year that he was planning to shoot the film next summer.  Damon will play Liberace’s lover Scott Thorson.
While I’m happy that Liberace is moving forward, I’m even happier that Douglas is feeling healthy enough to start working again and hopefully we can look forward to more performances from him.

2011 Oscar Preview

Best Supporting Actor

Frontrunners:
Christian Bale – The Fighter
Geoffrey Rush – The King’s Speech
Likely to be nominated:
Mark Ruffalo – The Kids Are All Right
Sam Rockwell – Conviction
Michael Douglas – Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Outside contenders:
Armie Hammer – The Social Network
Andrew Garfield – The Social Network
Ed Harris – The Way Back
This could finally be Bale’s year, after incredible performances in just about every role he takes on (I think we can safely pretend like Terminator: Salvation never happened now, right?). His work in The Fighter has everyone talking, and at the moment this category looks like his to lose.  However, Rush could very well pull an upset. He hasn’t won since Shine and his role in The King’s Speech seems right up the Academy’s alley. Douglas’ cancer scare will more than likely have the Academy thinking of him, though whether he gets nominated for Wall Street or Solitary Man is a bit of a toss-up. Given the nostalgia for the role, and the resonance with today’s economic times, Wall Street may be the better bet. Rockwell does some great work in Conviction, but he most likely has a better role in him somewhere down the line that the Academy will reward him for (that guilt for snubbing him for Moon has to catch up sometime).  Hammer and Garfield turned in fine performances in Social Network, but they may be a bit too young. However, the Supporting categories always seem to be where the out-of-left-field nominee comes from every year, so Hammer or Garfield (or even Timberlake) could still be a possibility.
