Cate Blanchett Joins 'The Hobbit' Cast!
Cate Blanchett will reprise her role of Galadriel from The Lord of the Rings trilogy in the upcoming adaptation of the trilogy’s prequel, The Hobbit.
The film will be split into two parts that will be filmed back-to-back starting this February, according to Variety.
Director Peter Jackson commented on Cate’s casting, saying “[she] is one of my favorite actors to work with and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her reprise the role she so beautifully brought to life in the earlier films.”

Michelle Williams: 'Blue Valentine' Premiere with Ryan Gosling!

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old actress attended a screening of the movie that was hosted by Robert DeNiro.

Amy Adams & Christian Bale: 'Fighter' Premiere!
Amy Adams, Mark Wahlberg, and Christian Bale walk the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie, The Fighter, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday (December 6) in Hollywood.
The 36-year-old actress, who wore J. Mendel paired with Irit Design jewelry, arrived with her fiance, Darren Le Gallo. Christian and Mark were also joined by their significant others!
The Fighter opens on December 10.
