Jimmy Fallon Covers 'Rolling Stone' February 2011
Jimmy Fallon skates on the ice rink at New York City’s Bryant Park on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine’s February 2011 issue, on newsstands now.
The 36-year-old late night host chatted about working with Bruce Springsteen on a Neil Young spoof and how he admires house band The Roots!
“After working with The Roots for going on two years now, you can’t beat them. You just can’t think of an idea that they can’t do. They can do everything - they’re the hardest working guys ever,” Jimmy said.

On hoping and praying to find someone like husband Keith Urban: “I remember thinking, Oh, my God, if you ever gave me a man like that, I promise I would be completely devoted for the rest of my life. Something that wild. I remembered praying after I met him that I’d meet somebody, if not him, like him.”
On family versus a career: “I like to ask people if they would rather have a great love that lasts a lifetime or an amazing career where you go down in history. Some people do answer that they want an extraordinary career.” FYI: Both Nicole and Jennifer said they would choose love!
On what she would tell her 20-year-old self: “That you’re going to meet the love of your life. My whole thing, my whole thrust in life, was hoping I would.”

Ryan Gosling Sings 'My Little Pony' Theme Song - VIDEO
Ryan Gosling performs his own rendition of the My Little Pony theme song in this segment from Popcorn with Peter Travers.
Peter often asks guests to sing a few bars from a song that’s been stuck in their head, and Ryan explained that his Blue Valentine co-star, Faith Wladyka, sang it constantly!
“I always get it wrong - she’s going to be so mad!” Ryan laughed before singing.

On why she’s seldom photographed with husband Chris Martin: “If I’m looking grumpy in public or if Chris and I leave a restaurant separately, it’s only because we don’t want to encourage photographers.”
On Chris: “I can depend on him. He makes me laugh. He’s really appreciative of me. You know, he makes me feel special.”
On fighting post-partum depression after son Moses‘ birth: “I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect. It was terrible, it was the exact opposite of what had happened when Apple was born. With her, I was on cloud nine. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t the same. I just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person.”
On learning to play guitar for Country Strong: “It was so much fun to pick up a new skill. I can be a perfectionist, so I really practiced. And between Chris’s help and the director needing me to be prepared, I was totally ready when the time came.”
