Celebrity hat styles are starting to cover their head! It seems now that any style goes from Norma Desmond-inspired turbans to funky military caps. It seems nowadays that J Lo is never photographed without a hat, and we all know that Brit's got some bad extensions to cover up with hers.
Luckily for you, this look isn't hard to pull off at all..it isn't like days of yore when ladies wouldn't leave the house without the proper hat and gloves you know. So if you see a really cute hat, don't hesitate...pick it up! Just remember these tips for wearing fall hats:
1) No straw: Steer clear of hats that are too summer, like straw hats...they just look out of place in the fall.
2) Ditch the cowboy hats for now: This is also a very Spring/Summer look, so unless you are working on a horse ranch, leave it at home until at least March.
3) Fedoras=yawn: Fedora's are so last month...keep your look fresh by opting for a more original topper.
4) Embrace yarn: Look for cute knitted hats and pair with a tailored peacoat for a ladylike but interesting look.
5) Don't wear a turban: Not even if your Beyonce...you'll just look crazy.
